hi, hope this's not revealing too much...

i managed to spoof the user agent, but it still doesnt seem to change the website in any way...
here's what i changed to:

description: 1337Browser_V3.1
user agent : 1337Browser_V3.1
app version: 3.1

rest of the fields are left blank.
did i do something wrong here?

1)the password work great.

2)uperficial- I don't know what is method that you used to spoof the browser, but there are method that the char "_" tell to the system that there are a two strings- check it out.

Okay, so I have been racking my brains on this one, and thus far to no avail.

I know that the Source Code of the page holds no hint of the password for use in the submit score area.

What also confuses me is this reference made by cp77fk4r in the post found here:

http://trythis0ne.com/forum/viewtopic.php?mid=51

I went to the website provided by cp77fk4r:
http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec14.html
and found this:

HTTP/1.1 proxies MUST parse the Connection header field before a message is forwarded and, for each connection-token in this field, remove any header field(s) from the message with the same name as the connection-token. Connection options are signaled by the presence of a connection-token in the Connection header field, not by any corresponding additional header field(s), since the additional header field may not be sent if there are no parameters associated with that connection option.

Message headers listed in the Connection header MUST NOT include end-to-end headers, such as Cache-Control.

HTTP/1.1 defines the "close" connection option for the sender to signal that the connection will be closed after completion of the response. For example,

Connection: close
in either the request or the response header fields indicates that the connection SHOULD NOT be considered `persistent' (section 8.1) after the current request/response is complete.

HTTP/1.1 applications that do not support persistent connections MUST include the "close" connection option in every message.

A system receiving an HTTP/1.0 (or lower-version) message that includes a Connection header MUST, for each connection-token in this field, remove and ignore any header field(s) from the message with the same name as the connection-token. This protects against mistaken forwarding of such header fields by pre-HTTP/1.1 proxies. See section 19.6.2.

I have no idea if this even has anything to do with what I am looking for but a little more direction would be greatly appreciated. Oh, if your considering telling me to look into the whole User-Agent thing, I have no idea what that is and google didnt give me much help on the subject either. My apologies for the length of the post but I'm just trying to learn.

I got the pass too, but surprise... it didn't work...

To prove, it says: Good Work! the password is ... :)

But when I try to insert in the serial number field, it is a character shorter, than required...

I used cURL, but it doesn't matter...

ok. this one has me TOTALLY lost. I, also, have successfully achieved to spoof the browser using the Firefox User Agent Switcher extension, but to no avail. A little more direction in what I am looking for or where I should be looking would be of great assistance.
